Motorcycle Use Toolbox

• This 'toolbox' has been developed in response to two initiatives. Firstly, the Casualty Reduction Steering Group identified motorcyclists as being particularly vulnerable in traffic accidents. Secondly, motorcyclists' organisations approached the County Council during consultations on the Provisional LTP: They requested that NCC "support and encourage the use of powered two-wheelers (PTWs) as an alternative to the car" and asked that motorcyclists be permitted to share facilities provided for buses and cyclists.
